2 cups all-purpose UNBLEACHED flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup buttermilk OR 3/4 cup milk plus 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon cornmeal
Cooking time: 25 Serving: 6 people

A very easy and quick biscuit! (Hint: Running out of bread when guests are on the way)

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda & baking powder. Using a pastry cutter or two butter knives, cut the butter into the flour until it resembles the texture of wet sand. Add the buttermilk and mix until a soft dough forms. Turn out on to floured surface and knead for about 1 minute. Roll out the dough into 1/2″ thickness and cut round shapes using a floured cookie cutter or cup. Place onto baking sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
